It retains the 30 × 16 × 20-inch travels while Haas publishes a 12,000-rpm spindle and 30+1 tool capacity.

Confirm: Higher-speed configuration, tool-change system, condition, options and whether the buyer actually benefits from the SS package.

Haas VF-2YT [2]

It keeps 30 inches of X travel and adds Y travel, with a published 30 × 20 × 20-inch envelope.

Confirm: Machine footprint, table arrangement, spindle/tooling package and whether the additional Y travel is useful.

DN Solutions DNM 4500 [3]

The currently published DNM 4500 envelope is approximately 32 × 18 × 20 inches, placing it in a nearby general-purpose VMC search set.

Confirm: Control, regional specification, spindle and taper, table capacity, options, service support and generation-specific differences.

Mazak VC-Ez 20 [4]

It is another 40-taper vertical machining center, but with a materially larger published 41.34 × 20.08 × 25-inch envelope and a 12,000-rpm base spindle.

Confirm: Whether the larger machine, Mazatrol control, floor-space requirement, tool package and acquisition cost fit the actual need.

See the machine under power when practical and verify the control boots without unresolved alarms.
Review spindle noise, runout or test evidence appropriate to the intended tolerances.
Check way covers, lubrication, coolant contamination, chip evacuation and evidence of crashes or repairs.
Confirm backlash, positioning or a test cut through a qualified inspector when accuracy matters.
